Saturday I blogged stating I’d be back to my running routine this week.
This morning I woke up with a feeling I had to do something, lay there for a few seconds and was like “Oh YAS! Run! Get up! Go, go, go!”.
I sprang out of bed and got down to business.
Before I run I always:
1. Drink nearly a pint of water – if you drink that much water within minutes of waking you’re recharged and ready
2. Stretchhhhhh. My shoulders click like I’m made of wood sometimes (the life of working on a computer) but a stretch supples me up
3. Wear a sick outfit. I only wear Running Bare and I always feel good because I know I look good; Fit and sexy AF.
4. Pick my playlist before I leave. It’s usually house music to get my energy up or Podcasts if I feel like I need to get my head into work from the get go. This morning it was houseeeee and it felt good.
As soon as I leave my front door I’m running and if you see me leaving my place you’d probably catch me smiling at this point.
For every moment you “CBA” to move when you’re worn out there’s a 100 moments that are so worth it when you work out.
This morning I ran to the cliffs between Tamarama and Bondi. It was beautiful. Obvs because I live in paradise.
I’ll be out tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day.
I’m only little I know that but I’m out of shape right now – gimme 10 days and I’ll be back on track.
Every day is a good day to get into a workout routine.
Every time I fall off the running wagon it’s never usually never for more than a week or 10 days – and every time I get back to it I’m all “HOW DID I NOT RUN FOR SO LONG!!”.
No more of that nonsense – does J.Lo fall off tour when she CBA and sit at home eating take aways watching Narcos?.
How different would my day be looking right now if I’d stayed in bed for an extra hour instead right?
ONE BODY – USE IT (preferably at sunrise because it’s the best time of day;)
